Things change and like everything else Fan Fair and the accompanying activities have changed greatly over the years. My first fan club was that of Jean Shepard. When Fan Fair was held at the auditorium in downtown Nashville one of the best places to view artists was to sit on the wall next to the entrance way. You got them coming and going and without the normal crowds. Here Tammy Wynette makes her entrance.
If you wanted a change from Fan Fair, you could always go out and catch a taping or two of Porter Wagoner's television show at Opryland. I don't think that Porter's changed all that much, do you?
